Join us for an amazing week filled with yoga, community and sunshine in Zanzibar 11th – 18th of February 2026!
We’ll be staying at the authentic Casa Umoja, with options for single, double or triple rooms:casaumoja.info.
This rustic guesthouse in the village of Nungwi, on Zanzibar’s northern coast, is nestled in a tropical garden, just steps from the beach. Our yoga sessions will take place in an open-air shala surrounded by nature, and we will hold sharing circles in the shala and on the beach. This is a lovely oasis on this beautiful island, surrounded by turquoise waters. Enjoy a week of gentle movement and mindfulness in a small group of women!

Important information
Please be aware that Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting, is starting on the 17th of February 2026. Ramadan is a holy month for the local people of Zanzibar and it’s important that visitors behave respectfully. It also means that life is a bit slower on the island during Ramadan but tourist restaurants along the beach will still be open. This will really only affect the last 1,5 days of the retreat and if you decide to prolong your stay on the island.
